Kourouta is located in a unique location in the Western Peloponnese.

More specifically, it is located five kilometers southwest of Amaliada, twenty kilometers southwest of Pyrgos, and forty kilometers from Ancient Olympia.

It is a famous, seaside, holiday destination.
